HP counterfeit product is ramped in the USA with a large amount coming from the middle east.  It is hard to identify and looks almost identical to the real HP product. You will not realize it is counterfeit until you start having problems with your printer.

Following these simple rules can help prevent you from being duped into buying these fraudulent products. If you get pricing from a vendor that is considerably lower then all other vendors, it is probably not the real thing. You can also almost eliminate your chance of  purchasing counterfeit products by purchasing your toner & ink cartridges from an authorized dealer.
